Hand-held manual label applicator guns make sense for medium volume labeling, where labeling is not performed in a fixed location. 

Table-top manual dispensers are available for single or multiple label rolls.

Semi-Automatic dispensers are great for fixed locations. When the operator takes a label, the next label is automatically dispensed and presented. Several models are available for both roll labels, fanfold labels, and 8-1/2 x 11 sheet labels. These can handle labels up to 15" wide. Footswitches are also available.
